Hello brothers of AGO!
We hope this email finds you well and healthy. One of the key tenets to the success of AGO at the collegiate level is an engaged chapter advisor. An alumnus brother that can guide, mentor, and oversee the younger generations of AGO men week to week. A brother that sets an example for our actives and is available to them should they need him. Brothers who had an engaged chapter advisor can attest how much of an impact they can have in their walks with Christ.
Currently, we have several vacancies we are looking to fill. As we move a little closer to normal each day, having at least one chapter advisor at all our chapters is essential to the continuation of AGO at the collegiate level. One of the silver linings of this time is we have learned how accessible things are. We welcome and encourage your interest as a remote chapter advisor if you are not in the same area of a chapter. You can still have a tremendous impact on a chapter while remote.
Below are our chapters that do not currently have a chapter advisor.
Xi (University of Colorado, Boulder)
Omicron (UNC Charlotte)
Omega (UVA Wise)
Below are chapters we would love to have a second chapter advisor at.
Beta (UC Berkeley)
Gamma (CSU Long Beach)
Kappa (Cal Poly SLO)
Upsilon (Appalachian State)
Chi (Liberty University)
Psi (West Chester University)
If you are interested in being a chapter advisor, email [email protected] to express your interest and to hear about the next steps to take to become approved. If you are on the fence in deciding, pray about it, see where the Lord leads you. Reach out to the same email address if you have any questions about the role and we can help answer them.
Continue to pray for AGO at noon. Pray for God to bring forward brothers to fill these key roles. Pray for our brotherhood and pray for Christ to still move in this time.
Strong the Ties,
AGO National Council
