Alpha Gamma Omega is supported by two separate organizations — AGO Ministries and AGO Fraternity. Each serves a different purpose, and each has its own giving fund. Here's how to decide where your gift fits best.
AGO Ministries
Tax-deductible · 501(c)(3)
AGO Ministries provides the spiritual infrastructure behind AGO. Your gift supports the ministry professionals who come alongside our student-led chapters.
AGO Fraternity Support Fund
Not tax-deductible
The AGO Fraternity Support Fund (formerly known as Alumni Dues) supports AGO operations — things like expansion, alumni networking, and conferences, not ministry-related support.
Want to support your home chapter specifically?
Chapter Excellence Funds are tax-deductible contributions through AGO Ministries that let you designate your gift to a specific chapter — funding Ministry Consultant oversight, leadership & ministry training, and outreach grants.
Our goal is $1,000/month ($12,000/year) per chapter — that's just 20 people giving $50/month.
About AGO Ministries
Alpha Gamma Omega Fraternity is student-led and student-run — the brothers themselves manage their chapters. But the fraternity's long-term spiritual health requires more than student leadership alone. That's where AGO Ministries comes in.
AGO Ministries is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It doesn't run the fraternity's day-to-day operations. Instead, it provides the spiritual infrastructure, trained ministry professionals, and financial resources that help each chapter be a powerful light for Christ on their campus.

Are my contributions tax-deductible?
Contributions to AGO Ministries — including Chapter Excellence Funds — are tax-deductible under our 501(c)(3) status (Tax ID: 56-2458850). Contributions to the AGO Fraternity Support Fund are not tax-deductible because Alpha Gamma Omega Fraternity is not a 501(c)(3).
What happened to Alumni Dues?
In 2023, AGO moved away from "Alumni Dues." We believe "Fraternity for Eternity" means you do not need to contribute financially to remain in good standing as an AGO alumnus. We now invite alumni to support AGO's mission through voluntary donations — either to AGO Ministries (tax-deductible) or to the AGO Fraternity Support Fund (not tax-deductible).
